does the ipod really count as a gaming handheld? really?

what qualifies a machine as a 'handheld gaming device'

For me it's a smartphone. If the Ipod/Iphone is called "gaming handheld" because it has games, every cellphone should be called  "gaming handheld".

Sorry CGI, just my opinion. You are doing an excellent job man.

first of all the iPod touch can't be considered a smartphone.. Second of all you make no qualms with the n-gage being in this list.. And thirdly you just don't know:

People can make a big list of games for a simple w580... and still, it's only a cellphone.

I talked about the Ipod (and not the n-gage) because everyone was talking about the Ipod. I HAVE an Ipod touch and a n95, both are smartphones in my opinion, but you can have your opinion, I won't say that you are wrong. For me, "gaming  handheld" is a handheld more focused on games, not a smartphone/cellphone that has a big list of games.
