| Reasonable said: Yeah, I don't think its a huge difference either - however, if you want to play these games on a PS3 hooked up to an HD TV, you will be getting a nicer visual presentation of essentially the same game and assets - ideally you also be getting a smooth frame rate and no tearing, too. I might well pick this up as I missed the GoW titles (solid PC man at the time) and would like to play them before I try out GoW3. I toyed with picking them up cheap for PS2 and having my PS3 up-scaling them, but clearly having them available native to PS3 with HD resolution is preferable. |
Definitely worth picking up if you want to try the games. Just locking the framerate would be enough reason for me. Trophies are a cool bonus. On top of that you don't have to hunt down some second hand seller and hope to get a decent copy. I am hoping more game series get compilations like this. Well, I should say the one that have a story should get them. GoW very loosely fits that definition of course, but still fits it well enough imo.
