And no, MW2 is not identical to MW, any more than Uncharted 2 is identical to Uncharted, Gears 2 is identical to Gears, and ANYTHING 2 is related to THE ORIGINAL.

Besides, Halo Reach isn't a sequel, it's a spin-off.
All sequels are similar to the original, or they fail at being sequels.

from screen shots and info they have given us. screen shots indicate a new health system perks like camo different weaponary and different story. from info is that its using a new engine built from scratch up :P. ps I never heard of a spinoff that has been in developement for 3 years, spinoffs ussaully dont sell very well so your saying that it will sell alot less than halo 3.

Spinoff isn't the word. But it's not Halo 4. It isn't a sequel to Halo 3.
I suppose if you never buy sequels that are similar to the original, you've never bought some of the best games of all time. Pity.
My favourite game is a sequel, actually (God of War II). My favourite game this gen, Uncharted 2, is also a sequel.
What would you have them do to Modern Warfare 2 to stop it being "the same as" CoD4?

the problem is that there is no improvement that the cod before it. i heard people say the multiplayer felt the same as the one in mw and same goes to single player they do not inovate or improve. all they improve is graphics and fix bugs. take halo reach, fans asked for the old halo 1 life system so they reinvented the life system etc.... and that doesn't stop halo reach from having an epic single player and multiplayer. Improve cod4 not only in graphics. does it improve destruction of buildings etc...... and i think the answer is no or slight improvement.
