I missed the boat on the first NiGHTS game and the whole concept seems a bit confusing, any old Saturn owners willing to give us the sales pitch on the new one? Like, what made the old one so special, because I always hear about the people who love the game but I never really go into detail as to why.

All I sort of know about it is that it was "a very special game on a doomed system."
