To be honest I don't understand the obsessiveness over "HD".  I have a 57 inch 1080p setup, its wonderful and I do enjoy the HD content.  But I still love watching movies in lower quality too.  It doesn't ruin my experience at all.  And if you have a smaller tv under 45 inch  720p is enough anyway.   

I don't mean HD qaulity, just not butchered or bad quality. Most of the movies I watch are on DVDs and the occassional VHS.
