True Games Interactive, a global online publisher has today announced, together with its partner Petroglyph, the first details and released the first screenshots depicting three of the several enchanting environments in its highly-anticipated online multiplayer action-role-playing game, called "Mytheon". The provided information will give players an inside look to the legendary environments they'll find themselves when entering the game for the first time. Colchis Characters will travel to the distant land of Colchis, that was once home to the famed Golden Fleece, now protecting Argos. The land of Colchis is made by two distinct regions: the cast Fallow Field and the Grove of Ares. Jason and his Argonauts braved many dangers there to claim their prize, including an epic battle against the Colchian Dragon who guarded the fleece. Since the argonauts won over the dragon, the sacred grove has become infiltrated with fierce warriors of Ares, the god of war. The dusty furrows of the Fallow Field are dotted with the skeletal remains of dead trees; now home to carrion creatures that prey upon the unwary. Remnants of a city lie just beyond the field's borders, long abandoned by its inhabitants and now overrun with diabolical beasts. What was once a thriving marketplace, surrounded by the homes of the townspeople, now lies uninhabited. The Shattered Isle Poseidon's home is the Shattered Isle, where he rules oceans and earthquakes from. On the island, also lives Amphitrite, Poseidon's beloved wife, and their son, Triton. The "divine" family symbolizes the ocean's tranquility, treachery, and their complete dominion, reflected in the island itself. This territory features a diverse geography: craggy, impassable cliffs, rolling meadows and gardens. Amphitrite lives in the peaceful Nereid's Garden (where the sparkling ponds and fountains reflect the tranquility of the sea), while her son Triton looks over his namesake cove amidst the foam and crashing surf. Poseidon stays, instead, in his temple, where he prepares his minions for the upcoming battle with mankind. Some skeletons, remained from past invasions, lie half buried in the sands surrounding crumbling columns and scarred boulders. Waterfalls cascade down stone ledges, casting a fine spray that coats the rocky surfaces and foliage. The Dominion of Hades The Dominion of Hades is the epicenter of Hades' power in the Underworld. In its dark, luxurious palace, Hades and his queen, Persephone, rule together the Underworld without mercy. |

For the ones braving to enter the dominion, gloomy corridors and cavernous halls will be waiting wait. Divided into three great regions – the Hall of the Dead, the Garden of the Furies, and the Court of Hades, Stonecasters must enter the dominion and face perilous legions of undead monsters, to eventually confront Hades himself, in his very domain, true source of his power. Players will have to challenge legendary mythological gods by some unique “Power Stones” that transform into spells, structures and creatures. Their studio does consist of a large number of the people who created the rts genre. Sure this is a rpg.. but it has rts elements :p |
