Video gaming went above TV for children when the cartoons that are aired on CN and Nickelodeon started to suck for the most part. The only cartoon that aired on Nickelodeon since 2001(look at my avatar) and REALLY impressed me was Avatar The Last Airbender. Now I am just spaming.
Video games being the top entertainment in this country might help it gain more respect in the long run.
