Freaking fascists haha. I must say the extreme right sure is becoming desperate with things like this. Instead of actually holding a logical and formidable opinion they seek scare tactics. Which is why I consider most of them to be fascists. Although they like to attribute themselves closer to libertarians (some of the crazier ones to with the extreme conspiracies) I know most of them aren't even near that realm and indeed from the last administration know exactly where to place them... neo-fascists haha.

But really this so offensive. 6 million people die in the Holocaust and we have people relating that to this. Your lack of understanding and comprehension shows that the we haven't learned from history whatsoever.

As someone else said in this thread, there are ways to discuss things without using scare tactics similar to that of discussion during and after the 9/11 tactics. Extreme right and extreme left as well need to stop trying to polarize their ideals to get the masses. This is exactly what Madison spoke of in the violence of factions and apparently our media who gives these people any credence whatsoever has forgotten about it.

I think, though, the thing that angers me the most about something like this is it fuels a one-sided debate. Because anytime Obama administration gets criticism it is overshadowed by things like this. Thus those who have logical and reasonable dissent don't get their message across and no one sane takes the things they say credibly. They just really don't know how much harm they due to their actual cause... of course I doubt these extremists know too much of anything. I just wish they'd stop trying to attach themselves to my ideology, libertarianism, as a way to further their agenda. That's offensive to me and other true libertarians... and yes that means you Glenn Beck.
