You're right.  She should've started calling me d21 years ago.

or maybe Dad, papa, etc.

Hmmm.....never thought of that.  But wouldn't it be weird if she called me the same thing that my "hoes" called me? 

 

I'm just kidding.  She calls me dad about 60% of the time.  I called my mom by her first name, too.  I only started calling her mom sometime in the past 10 years.  It's no disrespect.  It's just what we've always done.
