Talk to her about some other girl that thinks your cute.. See how she replies. If she is happy about it, then she isn't really into you like that. She might see you as another girlfriend. If she seems a little jealous or disappointed, go in for the kill. Tell her, "but, I kinda have a thing for you and I don't know if you feel the same way towards me. I don't want things to be akward between us, if you don't see me that way. We are still good friends no matter what."
