Well, I hope not. Pestilences are supposed to be a sign of the end times though.
A comedy routine I thought of the other day:
"You know, I don't know if vaccinations are such a good idea. Let me get this straight, I'm supposed to let someone inject the deadliest strain of the flu in the history of mankind short of one in a Stephen King book into my arm when I've had no previous exposure to it? Come On."
