wow the tekken hate in this thread is horrible.

You are all aware that namco has been pushing the playstations since tekken 1 right ?

Look at tekken 3. One of the best looking ps1 games.
Look at tekken 5. One of the best looking ps2 games.

Tekken 6 was delayed for a long time. If it'd come out when it was done, it would have been one of the best looking ps3 games at that time.

Getting this game tomorrow myself. I have no doubt all of your hate is unjustified.

Try the campaign and tell me, is that pushing hardware? it looks like something released for PS2 in 2003. Even worse. The match graphics are better but still awful. By no way comparable to even the earliest ps3 releases.

I've played every Tekken out there and loved them all - and still enjoying the latest installment but I wish they showed an actual effort in development.

I have played through the campaign scenario. Currently playing through it with kazuya for the different char conversations.

The campaign scenario doesn't look that visually appealing, though it does look better than ps2 games. Look at the char models such as jack and the lighting. The normal fight has the most fluid animation system in any fighter.. It's very visually appealing, though it's nothing that goes near to push the hardware. It looks better than resistance 1 and it looks better than launch titles.

Not only that, but the gameplay has been changed a lot so it feels very fresh. I'd gotten tired of dark resurrection online and feared that i'd get tired of tekken 6 fast but fortunately I havent.. Partially due to the huge changes the game has had visually (among other things i'm speaking of the fact that they redid all animations and that they have a bunch of new K.O. fall animations (the old ones pissed me off kinda.) and partially due to the gameplay enchancements such as rage and the fact that all chars are more fluid in their movements and .. overall moveset combinations then previous installment.

The scenario campaign is also addictive due to the items and story developments. It's very story heavy and i'm a big fan of the tekken story.
