Not to insult them at all, but the people who are claiming "if Sony/MS go motion next gen, i'll go to PC/quit gaming" aren't thinking clearly. They are stuck with a few ideas about motion controls which are either

A: Wrong-headed in regards to the motion controls that exist (like the people who still think motion controls would be tiring, or detract from relaxation or something),

B: Thinking of motion controls as they are, not as what they could be, like if someone, back in the NES days, had said "2 buttons and a dinky little d-pad? Fuck that! If this is what gaming is becoming, count me out!" Motion controls have even more potential for evolution and differentiation, as the vast differences between the three companies' true motion solutions show, or

C: Think motion controls are inherently tied to shovelware, looking at the Wii's lineup, and not taking into account that most of the reasons why the Wii's software lineup has the problems that it does have to do with pretty much every factor *except* motion control.
