How do you figure? Gaming has been a major market in one demographic for a long time and a minor market with combined leftovers of other demographics. Gaming is only mainstream in the sense that the mainstream is aware of it. Even with the Wii I don't know if I would call gaming mainstream. I think you might be projecting your own personal viewpoint as the defacto standard for everyone.
As for your blunt comment, here is one back at you:
The only reason someone might need to "get their mouth of Nintendo's dick" is because of how much time it has spent in MS & Sony's ass.
