This. Similarly I don't trust Game Informer cause it is owned by Game Stop.
More on topic, the sample you provided is all but irrelevant as it is likely incomplete. Without a list of all games given a 5/5 then there is absolutely no way to judge a correlation between a game getting rated high, and a game scoring above 90 on the metarankings.
