Good to see how things went there.
I worked the polls in Ohio today - fun times. Went very well for my first time, and it seems that I did a fantastic job according to the other workers. Of course, putting in a 15hr day is never easy.
The thing I noted:
People totally destroyed school funding and other tax levies around the state. Usually, it's a fair split, but it was pretty one-sided overall. When I talked to the poll workers (after the polls had closed, and we could talk politics), they said the results weren't too surprising to them, and that they feel that a lot of people are tired of getting screwed by uncle sam. I only hope that it continues and people choose smaller government in every aspect.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
