There have been a lot of various accounts regarding the length of time it takes to get your console to Microsoft and then get it back from repair. I figure I'll share my story. It's not over yet, but it should be soon. I have the E74 error.

Wed. 10/28 - I dropped my package off at the UPS store at about 5PM with the packing slip I printed off the net from Microsoft. I didn't feel like packaging the console myself, so I paid them $10 to do it. I'm lazy.

Fri. 10/30 - UPS tracks the package as delivered at 11:00AM. Sat. 10/31 - Microsoft e-mails me letting me know they received the console. Sun. 11/1 - Microsoft sends me another e-mail. This one lets me know my console is repaired. Mon. 11/2 - Microsoft sends me another e-mail. This one is about them shipping it back out to me and gives me my UPS tracking number.

I have it tracked leaving Mesquite, TX on Tues. It's supposed to be here by 11/9 but I'm not sure whether that's a placeholder date because it's ground shipping or if that's when it'll be here. It only took two days to deliver it to Microsoft originally. I'm hoping to see it here tomorrow, which is convenient for me since I'm stuck at the house all day anyways. Fingers crossed.

I'm not sure what we'll discuss here. I was merely reading my e-mails and figured I'd share. I guess give a quick synopsis of your own experiences sending in your 360s if you haven't gotten to share already in other threads. Overall, I'm pleased with the experience thus far. This was a very quick process, and I should have it back by the time Modern Warfare 2 comes out at the absolute worst.
