nsmb wii is just a 2d port of the ds game isnt it?
just because there is a lack of other games to play does not make this game the second coming.
MW2 by a mile.
and even if it was the second coming, it will not outpace mariokart or even galaxy. games like wiifit and wiisports are what nintendo represents now... not mario.
some say.. but its 2d!, that hasnt happened for years and years= big sales.
but NO. there is a reason a 2d mario game has not been on a home console in years (cough.. paper mario) that is becuase it is a regression.
I will say it again, MW2 by a mile in all respects.
