From all the Capcom 5 exclusives, only PN 03 remained GC exclusive. VJ, Killer 7 and RE4 went to the PS2 later, Dead Phoenix got canned. Even if you include RE0 and REmake, the number of GC exclusives is way, way smaller than the PS2 exclusives. RE Code Veronica... pride and joy that didn't remained exclusive for long time and got a PS2 release shortly after. Most of Capcom's DC games got a Sony console release as well. Even if you consider all Capcom's DC exclusives, the number is, by far, smaller than PS2. I'll say again, to say the GC and Xbox got the same PS2 support from Capcom is an omega failure statement. N64 only 3, I said 3 games from Capcom, two of them were years late ports: RE2 and Megaman Legends. Saturn games, most of them, were late ports from PSX games, although some of them were superior to the PSX version, many of them were Japan only titles and never got a western release. Many Capcom games like RE2 and Megaman X5 which previous games of the series got a Saturn release didn't came to it. Saturn had few Capcom exclusives. Again, you can't say Saturn and N64 support were on par to PSX because isn't true. Now see the PS2 exclusives... most of them are still PS2 exclusive till today, never got out from it. |

Most would agree that what they wanted to do and what they eventually did differed because of financial considerations. Gamecube had a record-breaking launch and if they ended up selling 70mil then I think Capcom's software would've showed it.

That's not what I'm saying. Saturn crashed and burned and N64 wasn't nearly as big as PS1. I meant that they are not "Sony-biased", but rather that they are making good financial decisions while still serving all the platforms. That would make them smart, not Sony-biased and that's why I don't agree with the OP. It's a good topic though.
