How many games did you buy in a console's first year?

I bought a little more games in the Cube's first year, but I can see the reasons quite clearly. Most important is that the Cube was only released in May 02 in Europe while he came out earlier in NA and Japan. That meant that a lot of games came out in the Cube's first year here while they came out in the second year in NA. Also, because of the May release, there were games released during the usual summer drought. Lastly, I didn't have too much time to play this year.
