It actually wasn't going to be my first choice. That honour was for Microbiology. However, my first genetics course I took, I fell in love with it. Every question is like a puzzle - I like solving puzzles. How did you become infatuated with genetics in forensics? Through PCR and Electrophoresis gels? |
i actually fell in love with it at school years ago, i loved the whole blue eyes:brown eyes conundrum, and i wanted to be a genetics counsellor. but i changed my mind after doing year one of a human biology degree and it wasnt what i hoped for, so dropped out at the end of it to move to forensics- so im in 2nd year of this course, it was a bit of a hasty choice but il have to stick with it now, its fascinating
i'm still doing a module in Microbiology though, and i love love love it. no genetics though
