Grandia is by GameArts. Sony doesn't own either. GameArts is currently owned by Gung-Ho. (previously by SE)
Grandia 1 was ported from Saturn, Grandia 2 from Dreamcast. 3 and Xtreme were PS2 exclusive, but from what I hear, they are rather bad.
