How many games did you buy in a console's first year?

For all systems I have owned:

Atari 2600 -- NA didn't own in first year
NES -- like 3 or 4
Genesis - NA didn't own in first year
SNES -- 2 I think
N64 -- 2
GCN -- NA didn't own in first year
Wii -- Zelda, Excite Truck, Godfather, Madden 08, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Galaxy, Zack/Wiki, Metroid Prime 3, Wii Play, Wii Sports...so...10 PLUS 10 VC games...20 total.

Now, I have sold Zelda, Excite Truck and Godfather, leaving me with 17 current games. I will be selling MP3 and Madden soon to get RE:UC.
