Though I admit the Vampire Hunter D novels can be pretty great. They're kind of like a Japanese version of Conan, only it's about a dhampir instead of a Cimmerian. Soriku might love the Hell out of those books, actually - they're kind of kitschy but fun as Hell. Great post-apocalyptic vampire pulp with the baddest character to ever come out of Japan.
