'After that though it's pretty barren until FFXIII, while Wii has a ton of surefire sellers in between (Taiko Wii 2, Tales of Graces, Sengoku Musou 3, NSMB Wii, PokePark, Mario & Sonic 2, Crystal Bearers).'.

Surefire sellers eh?

All those games will break at least 200k, they're all pretty much guaranteed that.  At least half will break 300k and couple will break 500k.  The only PS3 games I see doing similarly in the same period are WE2010, FFXIII and maybe Dragon Ball.

I don't think any are necessarily big hardware drivers, but as DS and PS2 have proven, it's not just the big games, it's the stuff in between that keeps you afloat.  A full lineup's more important than one big title on it's own, which is why Wii just recently struggled after MH3.

We may be surprised. It's looking likely that both Bayonetta and Tekken 6 will reach 200k.

Bayonetta and Tekken 6 aren't upcoming releases.  And really, I'd have expected as much from them, there's no real surprise there.

I know they're not upcoming releases. My point is that both Bayonetta and Tekken 6 are going to exceed expectations.

Famitsu expected for Tekken 6 to sell 180k maximum in its lifetime. They also expected Bayonetta to sell 160k maximum in its lifetime. I'd consider them surprises.

Beating Famitsu's expectations isn't exactly the same as exceeding their own.  And really neither's relevant to the discussion at hand, just like Wii Fit Plus isn't.  I was talking about upcoming releases for the rest of the year... I don't see any potential "surprises" among what's left for PS3 besides what's been mentioned, do you?
