And I love how people get to Garnet's throat about saying the PS3 is unreliable... it's not because something else is less reliable that the PS3 is reliable. This gen has the worst console reliability ratio and the sad part is that it also has the highest console price. For $699 you bet your ass the thing should not fail in the next 5 years... especially since you already had to get a second job to buy the first one...
Only reason I ever bought a 360 was because I got it dirt cheap... cheap that if it failed on me I didn't feel ripped off. I don't think the PS3 has reached such a price yet (even considering the lower faillure rate) |
Well said man, i agree with you on all levels, i got my 360 on the cheap! (still love it and its games though.) but i was prepraed for a RROD day for it, but since i got the Arcade Edition wouldn't really care much, would just send it to MS and wait for it like a normal gamer...
But for the PS3 (I payed $500 for mine...) it better DO EVERYTHING, make me breakfeast, lunch and dinner, clean my room, calm the frisk, do my laundry, scare the little halloween kids away, and bake me some rainbow fucking cookies, so yes... i never expected this BS to happen because i take good care of ALL my games and gears, there all flawless, nearly anyway.
And yes leave Garnett alone guys, hes right this is highly upsetting, i almost fucking made it go to the promised land for its blasphemy. I'd also like to note this is the first gen where i never bought a Slim first of the playstations, back with PS1 and PS2 i bought the slim versions first, always... so this is infact a lesson, from now and on im NEVER buying a PS4 or whatever until it gets slim-iefyed.
