Wessle how much do you actually know about Zen? Do you know the paradox of the mirror and dust?

I'm not really into the zen philosophy because I don't know much about it. Tell me the paradox, sounds interesting.

Our body is the Bodhi-tree,
And our mind a mirror bright.
Carefully we wipe them hour by hour,
And let no dust alight.

There is no Bodhi tree,
Nor stand of a mirror bright,
Since all is void,
Where can the dust alight?

It deals with the concept that a very (very) large number of Buddhists believe in, namely that this world is merely a construction of our perceptions and in truth nothing is real, but we seek to improve ourselves anyway. That's the paradox: we try to polish a mirror which isn't real.

Awesome concept. I like it.
