This web page says the ad agency being the Kevin Butler spots also did the Mac vs PC spots:
http://www.unboundedition.com/the_feed/2009/aug/28/sony-out-create-new-ad-icon-latest-ps3-spots/

I like the Mac vs. PC ads too.

Sony needs to do something similar to those when the Kevin Butler stuff ends.

I hate the Mac vs. PC ads.  They need to stop singling out Windows' minor issues and start actually advertising their product for a change.  I have much experience with Macs and they have many annoying issues as well, not to mention to get equal performance on a Mac I have to pay twice as much.....

Sorry for going off topic.  The PS3 ads are great because they are advertising what the PS3 does and not taking shots at MS or Nintendo.  The Mac ads just make me want to punch something because of how blatantly they deceive people.

Window's "minor issues"?

Yes.  Have you fallen for their scare tactics and deception?  They overblow every small windows issue.  Macs have many issues themselves that they never care to mention.

I have a PC right now, running Vista. By all means, I should have killed myself out of frustration right now. Yet I'm perfectly happy with it.

I guess I'm just insane by Apple's standards.

gee try programming in it, it's hell-o a frustation.  while doing small things don't cause alot of trouble.

but heavy programs like IDES, games or design app like Vegas, sound forge, autoCAD easy get "dont respond" due vista eating up ram.

unless u have 2gb+ and nice dual core cpu.

Which nearly all Vista machines do

I've used Sony Vegas, Adobe CS4, AutoCAD and more with never an issue.  Perhaps the fault is with the operator and trying to put Vista on hardware it shouldn't be?  If you have an older PC you should stick with XP.  No one is making you switch.

Oh and as a programmer myself, mainly java and C, I have had no issues with using Vista as my platform and designing programs to run on basically any windows PC using Java.

Now enough of this off-topic stuff.  Lets stay on topic to the Kevin Butler Ads.

I ammend my last post on the topic... the Upset Girlfriend one is my favorite   I didn't realize that was what it was called and thought it was referring to the Uncharted 2 girlfriend one

if u just bought it, by the time vista was on most came with 512mb or 2gb, celeron and dual core for mid-high end.

i got a 1gb DDR2 667. and core 2 duo 1.73 but that doesn't cut it for heavy IDEs like netbeans, or gaming at all even light games .

but my new vaio P8600 2.4ghz 4gb does quite a punch for same apps.

That's really funny.  I use Netbeans on my laptop which is sporting just a simple Pentium Dual core 1.8GHz processor (much weaker than Core 2 Duo family) and have never once encountered any issues with that....

When Vista first launched, it launched with PCs that had at least 2GB of RAM unless you got Vista Basic which is about the same as XP and not as demanding.  Those Vista Basic PCs will be fine with just 1GB of RAM.
