I agree.  Team communication is a rather large aspect of online games in my opinion.  And developers should have the option to have complete control over the way communication happens.  Players should be able to hear nearby communications from both enemy and friendly players(although if characters have helmets, enemies would not be able to hear).  And you should be able to hear friendlies over the team radio frequency.


I had a feeling MS would be making updates to their party chat functionality for online gaming.
