Exactly what kind of boost is this supposed to generate? I can see a new console needing to generate attention, but this? Who doesn't know of the Playstation brand and the PS3? Why is someone going to suddenly decide to buy a PS3, because Sony sets up something like this? Sony was taking a beating at price first and foremost, and they helped to address that, so there was an increase in sales.
