Isn't this a thread of Live lovers getting pissed off?
I'd hardly say this is a Live haters thread. I myself love Live and I use the party chat option all the time to talk to my friends and family while gaming. I love the option because you don't have to listen to all the little kids or immature loosers. If I'm forced to partake in an in game chat feature I'll be pissed.
Also the idea that the party chat helps players cheat (Yelling out hostile locations), think about it a second, you'd have that communication at a LAN party, you'd have that kind of thing in a single room four player match. Infact in real warfare when a soldier gets taken out they have GPS and can see exactly where they were killed and if the soldier isn't quite dead he'd radio in who is taking him out and where the hostile is.
So what does removing Private chat do? it just makes games worse!
