I never said they were inferior. I think releasing DLC as a stand alone retail game, makes it a glorified DLC. If the Joker challenge rooms were seperate at retail, they would also get called glorified DLC.

Thats what the DLC has been called since it was announced - DLC. Downloadable Content. Not RTC. Retail Content.

OT: I also think its worth noting that in previous weeks the Xbox 360 is tracking below last years PS3 numbers.

You realize not everyone is connected to the internet right? They didn't just put it on the retail market for the hell of it. They did this with Fallout 3 DLC too, and I think it's a great deal if you aren't connected to the internet. Nevermind that it has more content than most retail games. Please stop pretending like saying "glorified" isn't taking a dig at it.
