The thing is, it's not because it only has 8v8. It's because:

- It can't play 16v16, or 32v32, or 64v64.
- It doesn't have the customization of the average PC FPS.
- It has no Mods.
- It has more lag.
- The host has advantage.
- You can't use Keyboard+Mouse.
- It has autoaim.
- It's nowhere near as fast as PC FPS.
- Console players are less skilled.
- Console players and FPS are less tactically profficient.
- You can't build a community like the ones that exist around a server.

I must be missing a few, but you get the point.

Biggest amount of FUD I've ever read.  I even used my 360 controller the other day against an all pro (level 55 skilled players only) server on CoD4 PC and was second place on my team.  With keyboard and mouse I'm the top player on my team.  I go to the Xbox 360 (the version I had played for more than a year before just getting the PC version a few months ago) and I'm still the top player.  So I went from rarely ever playing a PC fps to dominating on CoD4 in like 3 hours.

You sir, are very very silly.

Oh and you CAN use keyboard and mouse on console.  You just have to buy an adapter.  The skills of the players are equal.  Keyboard and mouse is obviously a better interface as I can easily do better with that on PC than using my 360 controller, but the players are equally skilled if given time to adapt to the other controls.  I guarantee you take a PC shooter only player and put him on a 360 game and he'd suck for a while too until he got used to the different controls.  Console shooters are actually tougher to be skilled at and more of a challenge since you are using a less accurate interface and non-programmable/limited control buttons.
