Most likely it's going to be the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Kaz Yamauchi has gone on record saying that he wants the car with the most hype around it at the time of the game's release for the cover car and even went on to say that it would probabaly be the SLS AMG.
The Ferrari 458 Italia is probably second to the SLS is hype at the moment in Kaz's mind, so if the SLS's hype crashes and the Italia's jumps for some reason then the Italia will probably take the cover spot.
The GT by Citroen (along with the Ford GT, Chevy Corvette ZR1, and Nissan GT-R) are unlikely since they were already used on the covers of the last four Gran Turismo games.
