I had the strangest dream last night... (game related)

So, I was playing God of War III. Or...I was in God of War III. First person. Lazarevic was aiming an RPG at one of the machines. So, I took out my pistol (it looked like a pistol, but it was really a machine gun), and killed him with a headshot. So I used my pistol/machine gun to kill him...this Greek hero popped up in the corner of the screen, and said I had earned some multiplayer achievement.

 

If I got a multiplayer achievement, why were there credits at the end? And why did Kratos have a gun?

It means that God of War III will be an FPS, and be exclusive on the Xbox 360©
