I'm more afraid of the state of American radio than the noise. They hyped it far too much, were far too willing to admit superstitious and religious points, and were too informal with the audience.
It sounds a lot like random noise. If you listen to a crowd of people that is also random noise. We can synthesize choir voices, I'm sure the waveform isn't that complex. So a random source with the correct simple tones could produce that.
