So is Square done with the Final Fantasy remakes?

Being that Square doesn't use the touchscreen in their remakes, the game would be so much better in the Crisis Core engine on PSP. I'd love to see the 3D with a bit more horsepower.

An engine has to work with both gameplay and graphically abilities. A "real time" engine like that used in Crisis Core, wouldn't work in a single player game.
