Wow! And that's an old build? Cripes.

It's the same section that's been floating around the web for a while (since E3, oddly enough), so I wasn't too impressed to begin with, as I'd seen it all already. Pretty? Hell, yes (and 1080p -- really makes a difference). Bloody? Oh yes. Awesome? Well, kinda, in a seen-that, done-that sorta way.

Then I started flying with the Icarus wings a little. And trying the combos, and generally messing about. Encountered a few camera issues as I went, but minor ones. Then I killed a lot of stuff in some really, really gruesome ways. Then I was really flying, and that section was just awesome! But, after all too brief a play (about 8 minutes, I guess; killed about 4 boss type things, 1 god, and a ton of other things), it was over.

So, yes, it's GoW. It's all blood and killing and blood and crazy weapons and blood and epic scale and blood and QTEs -- basically, more of the same, but a hell of a lot prettier -- and by the gods I want this now!

Indeed, given what I've been reading about how's it's been upgraded these last months, I think this may easily top Uncharted 2 in the graphics department. It's so much sharper, and there wasn't any slowdown when I had a ton of enemies on screen.
