It's because it's untrue. You seriously believe the American government? They lie all the time.

By the way can you believe that the newest south park episode actually goes about this subject? You should watch it, one of the best episodes I've ever seen of south park(And even that episode said atom bombs ruined a lot of lives long after the bombs were dropped) .

Ps: I actually study history at a university, and my syllabus(idk if this is an English word) of the course "history of the 20th century" actually says totally different things then that dubious article. Syllabus was written this year, so I don't think it's out of date :) And I don't think they teach me things that aren't true ;) I don't want to believe it because I have sources that tell me otherwise.

Yes, by all means.  Take the opinion of southpark over a scientific study conducted by both parties involved. Why would the JAPANESE GOVERNMENT lie about this?

It isn't out of date.  It's exagerrated lieing.  The effects of nuclear radiation in general.  People who buy in to that are ignoring the real scientific facts of the matter.

Feel free to be ignorant though.

History in history books are usually inaccurate... no matter where you go.  MOST textbooks are inaccurate aside from math textbooks.  Direct sources are the only was to get to real history and science.  Most sylabbus' are written from textbooks.

Also you should not that the source quoted is in fact.... German.
