Hitler had an agreement with Stalin that Russia wouldn't interfere with the war in Europe though. But then Hitler made the really dumb decision to attack Russia(Seriously Hitler? Why make the same mistake as in WWl? He should have just focused on England seeing as France was beaten very quickly...)
Stalin was very surprised to say the least when Hitler invaded Russia.
But even if Hitler wouldn't have attacked Russia during WWll... Stalin would have probably attacked Germany(or Europe if Germany would have still lost the war) after Hitler's war in Europe because they would be weakened then(or Europe weakened if Hitler would have still lost). I can't say this for sure, but it would be a golden ticket for Stalin.
