US commonly being good guys in their work?! Seriously go back to your history books please, and try not to go to an American school/university if they teach you bullshit like that(I'm not saying American schools are bad, but if they teach you that America is commonly the good guys then there's something very wrong with that school). 1 atom bomb was enough, Japan had lost the war and they surrendered quickly after the second atom bomb.
The only other solution(well not the only one, but this is what Russia wanted) was to organize a similar day like D-day, but they would need the help of Russia and there were already signs of struggle between American and Russia back then. It would also lead to more deaths FOR THE AMERICANS.

Ps: Do you know the video were america brings down Saddam Hussein and the people from Iraq destroy his statue? And all of them cheering? Well that vid is shown a lot on American news, but it's all FAKE. If you look closely then you notice that most of the people there are soldiers and journalists. No one was even at that statue, American soldiers asked the people to come out, so they could make that vid. It's all fake, no one was happy at all... The media is just a tool for war propaganda and most people follow it like sheep.
