Breath of Fire 5 was not even a RPG. It was the worst in the series (much worse than BOF 4). It was just some Resident Evil kind of game with RPG elements. It had new ideas, but these kind of ideas should be buried forever. The plot was confusing and pointless. Gameplay was either too hard or too easy. Sidequests were lacking and the 50 floor dungeon was truly annoying. Nina being a 9 year old girl was a little disturbing (Ryu always marry Nina in BOFs).
