Unfortunately yes, but good to hear it turned you on.
Here's my guess and my wish: An early version of the new Wave Race game was implemented in Wii Sports Resort (I haven't played WSR by the way) and at the moment they're working on the full version called - no not Wave Race Blue Storm 2, but - ta dah: Wave Race Wii (sensational idea, isn't it?).
A new Wave Race just HAS to become reality this gen. I loved Wave Race Blue Storm to death, it was my very first console game on my very first console, it's still my favorite console racing game (2nd only to my favorite PC racing game ever). I still play it from time to time.
