Jesus kung fu magic, I suggest you replay the games or refresh your memory on Wikipedia.
I'm sure you haven't played the games for a long time (just like me) and it's understandable that you either forgotten the game's plot and themes, or misinterpreted it (since your interpretations are based off of false memories).
