I think he was a character who had purpose.... but slowly lost that purpose and now is nothing more then an angry guy who's striking out at everything.
He became a god... was kinda pissed cause he was used, had a dead family and was a god who was pretty restricted... but I mean think about it. He gets Time travel and he uses it to attack the Gods rather then say... save his family.
