He's an anti hero. He's not suppose to be nice. The first one indeed had an understandable story. And even though many think the second one was lacking in that department, I think it made sense. Kratos was just showing his true colors.
As I said, he's an anti hero. Kratos is a guy who's murdered many many people (and things). Although I think Kratos is one of the most memorable gaming characters of this decade, I know his intentions are selfish and hateful.
In short, yeah... he's an angry bald guy who's gonna put your head in his pocket.
