Just because it had a bigger impact on Playstation doesn't mean that MGS was never on any other platform. To be honest if you had to have a franchise for PS it would be GOW. I personally haven't played it. But I don't think you can define the PS brand with one franchise. Like halo and mario. When I think of either Xbox or Nintendo both of those are the first games that come to mind. So if someone who has no PS console would like to tell me what franchise/character do you associate with PS?
How many sales has MGS1 and MGS2 had? Or is the database complete for those games?
