I've doubted it in the past, but as of now, I do believe in the type of love (I think) you're thinking of.

One of my favorite quotes about love is, "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world," which explains it on a somewhat basic level. As for lust vs love, I think the best way to tell is to give it time.
Another quote is “Your heart is my piñata.”
