Well love has a reason. That reason could be what you said (lust, beauty, etc).
But there's no such thing as a reasonless love.
So if you're trying to say pure love has no reason... well then sure, be my guest. But I don't think it's strange for us to love something for an reason. It's the reason that should be evaluated.
