But the crappiest PCs will get better over time, if they keep the game looking the same there will be no point in playing it when you could play something that looks much better. Especially if we're only considering people willing to pay for the bonus features, the customers.
Them releasing a brand new MMO with the same engine means it will look similar for quite a few years.
